Who?

My name is Søs Skovsø, and I have been immersed in the world of life sciences for more than 15years. The last 10 years of my work has focused on in vivo related diabetes research. Previously, during my Bachelor and Master of Science degrees I dove into the world of cell signalling through stays at universities located on three different continents, exposing me to different research cultures.

My hybrid in vivo PhD programme awarded me with experiences in both the world of industry (Novo Nordisk A/S) and the world of academia (University of Copenhagen). I chose to advance my postdoc research studies on the West Coast of Canada (University of British Columbia), where I discovered an outstanding level of high quality research performance. This research journey has given me experiential knowledge, with which I would like to advance other life scientists’ research.

What?

Since the start of my consulting endeavours I been lucky to work behind the scenes of outstanding islet researchers. I have assisted nPOD applications, grant facilitation, schematics making, data analysis, manuscript drafting, progress report writing, mouse colony management, breeding strategy set up, website making etc. Most often a pancreatic islet principle investigator has approached me clarifying their need and together we have set up a memorandum of understanding. Let’s discuss your needs and how I can make your life easier by out-sourcing your work to me.

How?

Contact me and let me know your need. If your need lies within my skillset, time available and your deadline, I will be helping you out! We will be in contact via phone, zoom meetings, email, google drive, MS Teams depending on your preferences. We can even meet in person if the pandemic and geography allows it.
