Mindfulness and gentle movement
I’ve learned to be aware of what is going on within me in any given moment via practices of yoga, meditation and guided mindfulness meditations. I’ve learned how stress, frustration, tension, peace and joy feels like in my body in my body. These mindful practices have taught me how to take care of my mental health in a world submerged in chronic stress. My personal experience with this infinite flow of pleasant and unpleasant situations, emotions, thoughts and sensations have shown me how a moment of breathing and gentle movement bring more acceptance of my current reality.
I’d like to share that knowledge with you. So we together can learn to navigate challenging experiences that are inevitable in life.
In addition to the series offered on Sola Studio’s website below, I’m happy to design a class for your team, lab, or department a moment in time to relax your mind and body. Both in academia and industry we often get lost in our to do lists and cluttered minds. I offer online yoga classes in an accessible language. I guide your breath and movement of your body to a moment of peace.
